Antarctica Take 2 – Antarctique Prise 2

Finally, less than 2 weeks before we leave for our second polar expedition in 6 months…this time we are heading south to Antarctica…our second expedition in Antarctica, though this time, we are taking the longer expedition that will bring us to the Falkland Islands and South Georgia where Earnest Shackleton is resting in peace…our first stop is Buenos Aires in Argentina…we will spend a few days there before heading to Ushuaia where we will embark on the National Geographic Resolution, the sister ship of the National Geographic Endurance, the namesake of Ernest Shackleton’s ship at the centre of the most incredible exploration survival story, probably ever.

My goal is to publish a daily blog of our expedition, but given that I am bringing different computer gear than I had in the Arctic, I might encounter some challenges…iPad Pro vs MacBook Pro with all my favourite tools and apps…time will tell…I will follow the same format where I publish a photo gallery and then a slide show of the same photos, allowing you to view the photos in a larger format, if you are interested…Enjoy!

Enfin, moins de 2 semaines avant notre départ pour notre deuxième expédition polaire en 6 mois…nous allons au sud en Antarctique…notre deuxième expédition en Antarctique, cependant cette fois, nous prenons la plus longue expédition qui nous mènera aux îles Malouines et en Géorgie du Sud où Earnest Shackleton repose en paix…notre premier arrêt est Buenos Aires en Argentine…nous y passerons quelques jours avant de nous diriger vers Ushuaia où nous embarquerons sur le National Geographic Resolution, le navire-sœur du National Geographic Endurance, l’homonyme du navire d’Ernest Shackleton au centre de l’histoire de survie d’exploration la plus incroyable, probablement jamais réalisée.

Mon objectif est de publier un blog quotidien de notre expédition, mais étant donné que j’apporte un équipement informatique différent de celui que j’avais dans l’Arctique, je pourrais rencontrer des défis… iPad Pro vs MacBook Pro avec tous mes outils et applications préférées…le temps nous le dira…je suivrai le même format où je publie une galerie de photos, suivi d’un diaporama des mêmes photos, vous permettant de visualiser les photos dans un format plus grand, si vous êtes intéressé…Amusez-vous!
